Nicole Talkington, M.Div, BCC
Rev. Nicole graduated from John Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts dual degree in Biblical & Theological Studies and Spanish. She then traveled to Princeton Theological Seminary where she earned her Master’s of Divinty degree, and is an ordained Presbyterian minister.
She received her Clinical Pastoral Education at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ, and has over ten years experience working as a health care chaplain, with four years experience in the mental health field.
Rev. Nicole has studied religion in the Philippines, in Spain, and in India. She is a Board Certified Chaplain and is also trained in Critical Incident Stress Management. In her spare time she volunteers as an ASK Suicide Prevention Trainer, a best practice training developed through the Texas Suicide Prevention initiative specifically to educate the general public on where and how to get help for someone who is at risk for suicide. She has also written an interfaith devotional for people in mental health hospitals that she offers free of charge.
